We had one a few years back and it was the best dog. I just
really like that breed

Awwww. I’m partial to beagles since my childhood dog was a
beagle so I understand.

Dalmatians! We have had 3 beautiful female Dalmatians over the
past 27 years and they have been the lights of our lives! Our
first, "Sparky Sr." was a 7 month old rescue given to DH as a
gift by his graduating seniors when he taught high school. She
was a love and lived to 13 years. A few weeks later, we adopted
"Sparky Blue", from a woman who breeds, shows, judges, and
adores this breed. We met her as a 4 week old puppy - a sweet,
blue eyed baby. She basically chose us by jumping into DS's
hands, then peeing in his lap, lol! We brought her home at 10
weeks and she also lived to 13. We contacted the same breeder
and one of her sires had just had a litter so a few weeks later,
we brought home "Sparky Sophia", a lively feisty sweetie pie!
That was 2 years ago. Note: each new puppy happened to have been
born on the same day the previous "Sparky" passed. I haven't
figured out how to post a photo, but trust me, our Dals have all
been beautiful, smart, sweet, loving. DS was 5 years old when we
adopted our first Dal -oddly, the same week we had just seen the
re-release of Disney's animated "101 Dalmatians"! And we have
loved our darling Dals ever since!

we used to have a yellow lab! he was always so happy! so i will
say lab as well ;D

If I had to choose I'd say German Shepherd. My sister has a
couple and breeds them and they are really awesome dogs.
