Lol the parties. Someone just posted some of our senior
pictures on facebook so I've been nostalgic.

Most, if not all, my fondest memories of high school were of my
Glee Club activities. I always loved to sing (I still do and I
sing in the church choir, as a soloist, in a Sweet Adeline
chorus and 2 barbershop quartets) and was very active in Glee
Club. We rehearsed once a week, we put on 2 shows/concerts a
year, at Christmas and in the spring. Most of the guys I dated
were from Glee Club, beginning in my freshman year when a senior
asked me to the Prom. My school was in New York and every year,
a bus took the Glee Club to do Christmas performances. In my
junior year a TV show was filmed at my high school starring our
Glee Club, Band, and me as a soloist with my guitar and a song
I'd written. The show's host was Ray Bolger (yes, the movie
star and the Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz). He was very sweet
to me and had a lot of fun mingling with us kids. I had a nice
circle of friends, boys and girls, that I usually sat with at
lunch and met at dances, and I had a lot of fun. Sadly, I'm not
longer in touch with anyone from the school - the kids came from
all over NYC and went to colleges all over the country. But I
remember them very fondly.

My English teachers in grades 11 and 12 were THE coolest
teachers ever! I also loved band and choir trips, being a
photographer for the year book my gr 12 year. And staring in the
musical in gr 12. Oh and stretching the intestines of a fetal
pig across the commons as part of gr 12 Bio.
