I'm making stir fry chicken and veggies for DH and the girls,
and a smart ones meal for me.

We were supposed to go out to dinner with a friend, but a tire
on DH's Jeep picked up a large nail and is leaking air. It's too
far away to go in my old car which has a cracked windshield. :(
DH spent the morning trying to find a gas station (and we have
dozens of them here!) that would fix it for him but today being
Sunday, it seems none of them could or would fix it (not sure
why, its a simple job, I've seen it done - they pull off the
tire, out the nail, insert a plug, push the tire down into a tub
of water to make sure it doesn't leak, put the tire back on,
fill it with air, takes 10 minutes, costs $10, sheesh!
Apparently, no one has a mechanic on duty and the gas jockey is
alone.) It's chilly and sort of drizzly here today so I'm making
sauce; we'll have it over rotini pasta with grilled Italian
sausage, with garlic bread and stuffed artichokes.

Salad with chicken for me and dh. Adam has to make spaghetti
for a school project thing so he and hayden will have that.
