Only when he had bad nightmares he stopped after he got to big
to share with us

No she doesn't do that. She stop doing that at 3 years old.

He did here and there when he was young but slept in his bed for
the most part.

My 13 year old stopped crawling in about age 6, but my 10 year
old did it right up to about 9.
When their dad was deployed I had more tolerance for it as well.
