What were you expecting? I think it's also a camera thing - it's
simple and white, so the camera probably had difficulty
capturing little details that would have been obvious had we
been there in person.

What kind of gown would you have picked for her? Are you back on

It's a dress I would like to see in person. Some clothes,
especially simple ones, are like that. The camera just doesn't
pick up the details.

Well, it was her wedding day and she was also marrying in to
Royal Family's protocol. Check out the outfit she wore today to
her FIL's birthday bash. I'm not a fan, but I think it's going
to take her a little while to find her style.

Yeah I saw that. It's pretty but not what we're used to seeing
her in. And did you notice her hair was smoothed back into the
very neat bun instead of her trademark messy bun with face
wisps. Kate and Diana both had some adjustments to make when
they first married into "the establishment" but they figured it
out and I know Meghan will too. She has some great help in Kate
and other family members.

Yes, I saw that, too. I'm sure she, too, will find a way to not
break protocol but still keep to her style. And as you said,
she's got a lot of good support.

I'm inclined to agree with you. It was lovely in its
simplicity. (I think Princess Diana's dress, while true to the
fashion of the time, swallowed her up and took away from her
natural, simple beauty.) But I think it would have added to the
bride's beauty by having just a touch of something, maybe near
the neck or on the train- a few tiny clear, sparkling beads. Or
perhaps a small but stunning necklace (I'm sure the family has
tons!) It was a morning wedding, so nothing more was needed.
