I'm pretty much self-taught. My mom taught be how to bake, but
not really how to cook. When it comes to cooking, I'm far more
interested than she is. I remember a lot of Hamburger Helper
and other meal kit sorts of meals from my childhood.

Who taught you to cook?
Who taught you to bake?
Which one do you prefer - cooking or baking?

My mom mainly taught me to bake... she wasn't much of a cook.
When I moved out, I knew next to nothing... now am trying to
teach myself.
I prefer baking - esp banana bread. I'd like to try an apple
pie but have to get the recipe from my sister.
