I have received the most ridiculous parenting advice you can
image. Even the old Moms Confessions group member would have
found it crazy.
I have been asked for parenting advice, but I give it carefully.
Of course my mom is always willing to give her opinion of what
my kids "need." LOL

Yes, old school ones like "put cereal in the bottle" and "let
him sleep on his stomach", etc. I just ignored and followed the
advice of my pediatrician. I have given parenting advice - it
used to be part of my job, actually. When it comes to friends
though, I generally give advice when asked for it unless it's a
safety issue.

How was giving parent advice part of your job?

Same here. Usually the worst advice came from those who didn't
have kids. I was told once that putting my child in time-out
was abuse.
