I have always worn my hair fairly long. When I was single, til
just before I was married, it was past my shoulders. For the
past 30 years, mostly it's been shoulder-length. The shortest it
ever was - just below my ears when I was in the beginning of my
8th grade year, when all the girls were wearing that length.
Looking back, short hair looks terrible on me, and by 8th grade
graduation, I, and most of the other girls in my class, grew
our hair out to chin length so we could all wear a "flip" hairdo
to our graduation dance, lol! All the men in my family,
including my Dad, brother, DH & DS prefer me in long hair.

I've had it short enough to stand up on top, in the pixie cut
style.

Boy cut short. I wore it super short for years, then one day
decided to let it grow. Now it's mid-back long.
