I just add chopped celery, a little grated onion, about a Tbsp,
a chopped hard boiled egg., and a Tbsp of yellow mustard and not
too much mayo. And about a tap of black pepper.

I've never made it (I'm a very inexperienced cook)...

First thing I do is grind my meat with the old time, hand, meat,
grinder. Every time I use the food processor, I end up with
what seems like a "spread" instead of a salad. Then I throw a
couple of hard boiled eggs through it. In a bowl, I add sweet
relish, sometimes dill relish. Followed by mayo, not miracle
whip. Some chopped onion and celery. Course grind black
pepper. Every once in a while a little dash of Lawry's Seasoned
Salt. Not much.
Use on bread with or without a little horseradish sauce, or
crackers, or a lettuce wrap.
Sounds like a good day for chicken salad. Yum. Enjoy!
