Lesson Learned
DIR By: guest44

It hasn't quite been a year since we bought our house, but we're
going to meet with a realtor to look at possibly selling it.
We're in way over our head financially on this place. It needs a
lot of work and we can't afford it. Our back steps crumbled and
we are scrambling for a way to afford to replace them.
This house is also causing a strain on my marriage. If we stay
in this house, we're going to end up divorced within the next
couple of years. DH isn't happy and hates this house. I hate the
town we live in. We're taking that out on each other.
We weren't ready for home ownership at all.

((hugs)) I’m so sorry it’s not working out there. It’s good that
you recognize it now. I hope you can unload it quickly and get
to somewhere better.

I'm so sorry! I hope you can work something out with the realtor
so you can sell the house. You may have to settle for less than
you want to. This happened to my sister.

I am very sorry to hear this. Usually home ownership is a very
positive and rewarding experience.
Did you folks have an income drop since you bought it?
