       Reply Notices?
       By: guest11 Date: May 24, 2018, 7:30 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
How do we know when another member has replied to our reply? I
am not referring to personal messages. I feel like I am just
       answering, not having a conversation.

so far either the Notify me of replies under attachments options
when posting then sift threw emails
       or
at the top where you see Hello {your username} there is 2 links
under ones for showing unread posts since your last visit then
the other is new replies to your posts{which shows posts you
       made with replies or quoted posts}
       attaching photo of them :)

I figured it out this morning, but left the post for others.
Thanks. I also went into my profile this morning and changed my
notifications. Don't know if that is why I am now getting them
at the top or not. Or maybe they were there to begin
with...lol...But whatever, just glad to find them. Thanks
       again.

I've been keeping an eye on recent topics for updates. When I
see that something has recent activity I check it to see if I've
been quoted. Not the easiest but easier for me than using the
       top links.

Even when I use the top links, I still have to scroll down
through all of the pages to find mine. There is the up and down
option, but if you don't know where your reply is, then that is
       useless...lol.

True, but I'm determined to see it as a positive lol. I can see
more of what is going on with everyone instead of just what I
       need to comment to.

It's difficult for sure and I miss notifications that take us to
the reply instead of to the whole topic. Notification will send
you an email if anyone uploads something to the topic you are
following. I've asked about it and support has seen it but it's
not something that they seem to be working on. Also replies
aren't threaded, which is why it's more difficult to find posts
       or follow them.
Honestly, I don't know whether they will work on this or not.
Someone asked about threaded replies back in 2017, and a year
later that feature is still not there. I did ask whether it were
possible to personalize and save font/font size/colour and he
said it would be an interesting feature, but who knows when they
are going to make it happen. After all, this is a free site. If
we wanted to make things happen asap, we'd have to pay for it.
