We have blinds, and drapes just at the sides. Tried just the
blinds for about a year, since they are very nice blinds, but
decided that I wanted a frame around them. So added the light
weight drapes, just to the sides.

LOL We put our a/c in that window and need something to cover
the top of the window so we aren't blinded while sitting on the
couch. So I just grabbed one of our biggest, and darkest, towels
and put it over the rod. Looks a little trashy but works like a
charm!

No, I don't like drapes and I especially hate blinds. I have
white, lace trimmed, cotton cafe curtains on all the windows.

I hate blinds as welll, they are a pain to dust, ugh!!
Curtains are easier to keep clean.

We only have curtains - sheers and the curtains themselves.

Huge salmon pink drapes that have been here for years lol. There
used to be green ones at one point, I'm pretty sure.
