Notification Question

Ok so I've been working on getting my profile settings just
right and I thought I'd figured out the darn notifications but
now I'm just confused LOL I'm getting a bazillion notifications
every time someone posts something to every post I've been to
but I haven't seen any for when I've been quoted.
Is there a way to know when this happens or to set my
notifications so I find out?

I found a notify me of replies right below the message box that
I am checking out. I will keep you posted on if it works or not.

click the top Profile tab then go to notifications you will need
to click on the ones you don't want to be notified about then
click unnotify

Yeah I know about that but checking that box just lets you know
when there is a reply to a post. But none of the notifications
say if there is someone quoting you/responding to a reply you've
made. My email inbox just fills with every reply that everyone
makes to the post. So I was just trying to figure out if there
was a way to get notifications of being quoted (like they do in
CM) so I don't have to climb through every post to make sure I
don't miss any quotes or replies.

no I don't think there is but under Hello PrincessAsMommy at the
top it says
Show unread posts since last visit.
Show new replies to your posts. {this one shows posts made from
your post}

Unfortunately, it seems that posts aren't threaded at this time.
I'm asking whether there's a way to get to the reply to our
reply quickly. Notification does seem to give out a general
notice that someone/anyone has posted in the topic we replied
to. Like you, my inbox is suddenly flooded.
Right now I use the link below my name at the top of the page.
Let me see whether we can refine things. Thank you!

For now it is either emails or click up top,
Some are to you from being quoted .. some are not :(
Hopefully this changes soon :)
