Has anyone ever tried to

take advantage of you? I have had this happen many times in my
life and someone new is trying to do it now. I am too nice but I
don't want my niceness taken for weakness and have someone take
advantage of it.
If you have ever had this done, what did you do to stop
it/control it?

This has happened so..many times now. So..now I have no friends
because I can't get hurt anymore.

i can relate. i have lost/gotten rid of so many people that have
done this to me. i don't have many left in my life but the ones
left are more quality although i rarely talk to them or see
them.

A handful of times and it seems to get worse each time. This
last time lasted years and I eventually had to put controllers
on the relationship and gradually pull back until we're now at a
more comfortable place.

It has happened to me many times! My own DH has done this to
me!! I just told him I felt like it is not ok and not something
I will put up with. Dh and I are working on our issues and he
doesn't take me for granted any more! for my so called friends
that have done this, I told them I didn't want them to be a part
of my life because using me isn't ok.
