I actually have no idea how old I was when I wrote my name. My
daughter was almost 3 when she did. :)

Wow! that's really early! Does she like to read?

Did she get punished? He sounds like a sweet kid :) Did someone
else tell you they saw Mike leave the notes and candy on your
desk, or did you catch him? Lol! :) It's cool you remembered
your first crush's last name! :).

She got scolded as did I.
I figured it out. I can't recall exactly how, I know I didn't
see him do it I think I guessed based on who had been in the
room and penmanship.

I had to think about this one. But I think I was 5. Both my
kids beat me by doing that at 4.

My fondest memory in elementary school was probably grade 5 when
I got to do a skit on the stage in front of the school.

Three is very young to write your name. Your daughter did
awesome! I can tell you spent lots of time with her teacher one
on one.

I think I was in preschool or Kindergarten? My daughter was also
three when she learned to write her name in preschool.
My fondest memory was of Kindergarten and/or 1st grade. I loved
my teachers and met some of my best friends to this day.

it :) My fondest memory in elementary school... of school I
don't know, at that age... the time I got to spend with my
grandparents and great grandparents.[quote

I think I was in kindergarten. I may have already
been able to write my name but I know we had to learn to write
our addresses. I fondly remember a sweet boy that sat next to
me opening my thermos for me because I could never open it
myself. He was hit by a car in second grade. We used to walk
to and from school together. His parents bought a new color TV
for our class with a plaque. It said "do not walk in front of
me, I may not follow, do not walk behind me, I may not lead,
Just walk beside me and be my Friend."
