       To-DoOS NT 18: How the release is planned and early access

       To-DoOS NT 18 is confirmed to release in March 2024. Here is how
       the release will go:
       To-DoOS NT 18 will have an installer on the official github.
       Before then, betas are being released on Github and upgrades are
       possible between builds. Here is how the upgrade will go:
       If you are on the Official Beta 1 for To-DoOS NT 18, then you
       can download the installer and perform an in place upgrade. This
       will upgrade your Beta install to the final release. This also
       applies for beta builds released between now and the final
       release.
       If you are using To-DoOS NT 11-17, you will need to utilize the
       web edition of To-DoOS NT 18, which will be an edition of the
       final release and will be available via the built in update
       tool.
       If you are runnings To-DoOS 5-X, then please install the latest
       update to these versions first. This will allow you to upgrade
       to To-DoOS NT 14 SP2, where you can then perform the update via
       the built in tool.
       If you are running To-DoOS 4, then update to To-DoOS 5, then
       follow the above steps.
       If you have To-DoOS 1-3.1, then you will have to perform a clean
       install.
       Now, here is information about release day and early access.
       Users of the official betas for To-DoOS NT 18 will recieve the
       update early on 29/02/24.
       Users of Older Versions will be able to perform a clean install
       from 1/03/24
       Users of To-DoOS NT 11-17 will be able to upgrade to To-DoOS NT
       18 from 2/03/24.
       Users who are using To-DoOS for Education beta will not be able
       to upgrade to To-DoOS NT 18 without a clean install and as such
       can install from 1/03/24
       System requirements:
       To-DoOS NT 18 Electron Edition requires a Windows device capable
       of running Chromium and at least 1GB of storage.
       To-DoOS NT 18 Web Edition can run on any Windows and macOS
       device. In addition, saving your list requires a localStorage
       compatible browser, such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, or
       Microsoft Edge.
       Differences between Electron and Web editions:
       Electron runs in its own dedicated window, while the web edition
       runs in a browser
       Electron is windows only, while the web edition also runs on
       macOS and linux
       Electron can be shipped via Github, while the web edition
       requires manually programming the update tool
       Electron is faster
       Electron edition can run offline
       Electron edition can be shipped via physical media
