       Update on James Storm & NXT

       Last Wednesday prior to the start of the NXT Takeover: Respect
       event, James Storm was spotted with coach Billy Gunn heading
       into Full Sail University. Storm would go on to make his NXT
       debut the next night.
       As it turns out, Gunn was the one who essentially got Storm the
       gig with WWE after putting in a good word for him to top WWE
       executives. Gunn and Storm are reportedly good friends outside
       the business, and it was Gunn who arranged for Storm and WWE to
       begin talks.
       Regarding the rumors that TNA threw more money at Storm once
       they learned of his deal with WWE, that may not be the case.
       Apparently TNA found out about WWE’s interest and then tried to
       book him on their upcoming tour of India, however they didn’t
       offer him more money than their original offer to try and get
       him to stay.
