Vince Freaking Out about Low Ratings
By: ChrissiCalvert Date: September 24, 2015, 4:41 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is reportedly “freaking out” over the
recent decline in WWE ratings according to Bryan Alvarez of
Wrestling Observer Live.
While this seems to be a sudden reaction to the the dismal
Monday Night Raw ratings of the last few weeks it should be
noted McMahon tends to be unhappy every year around this time
with the new football season returning.
If Raw's rating wasn't bad enough the 9/22 edition of Total
Divas on E! drew just 795,000 viewers, well below what the show
had been pulling in the seasons previous.
WWE have in the past reacted to such declines with something big
to bring back viewers, it will be interesting to see what the
company has planned.
Today, WWE announced that WWE Hall of Famers Shawn Michaels,
“Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Ric Flair, as well as Brock
Lesnar’s Hell in a Cell opponent, The Undertaker will all be
returning on the Oct. 19 Raw, scheduled to emanate live from
Dallas — the home city of WrestleMania 32, this will be one show
in which a strong rating is expected.
What can WWE do to boost their numbers?

Maybe do TV special every now and then. Raw rarely feels special
anymore and a special of some kind would boost ratings. Be it a
tournament advertised 2-3 weeks in advance, a anniversary show,
or doing something holiday themed. Like have the Raw before
Halloween be Halloween Havoc.

I also think it is to long and they have to much talking in it
.. If they are going to bring back old school guys you have got
to let them get back in the ring and have a match .. No one
wants to see just talking tbh
