The WWE has announced the main event of the next NXT TakeOver
special, and it’s a huge one for Diva fans.
In a rematch from NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn, Bayley will defend her
NXT Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks in a 30
Minute Iron Man match.
The news was announced at tonight’s NXT television tapings
and tweeted by Triple H:

This will mark the first time the Divas have main evented a
TakeOver special, though Bayley and Sasha’s Brooklyn match
was advertised as a co-main event. Divas have already main
evented regular episodes of NXT and, perhaps most notably,
wrestled in the main event of NXT’s much-hyped
Philadelphia live event. It will also serve as the first ever
Divas Iron Man match.
The next NXT TakeOver special takes place October 7th and will
air live on the WWE Network.

NXT Divas ARE wwe Divas, just not on the main roster yet (well
apart from Sasha)

Because they are hired as wrestlers, not models (Eva Marie being
the only exception there and i have nothing good to say about
her)

That is not true. NXT have not just got wrestlers. Most of them
are NFL stars and Models too..

They have the girls to put on great matches now, they (aka
Vince) is too focused on pushing the wrong girls
