Top Star NOT Re-signing???
By: ChrissiCalvert Date: September 9, 2015, 1:28 pm

During a recent interview with local Pittsburgh radio station
105.9, TNA star Kurt Angle revealed that he would not be
re-signing with TNA when his contract expires at the end of the
year. Angle is expected to take a hiatus from pro-wrestling
after his deal expires later this year.
Kurt Angle did assure listeners that he would be at the TNA’s
Bound for Glory pay-per-view on October 4th which could very
well be his last match with the company for now.

The man has stated before that he's close to just plain
retiring. He's definitely earned a long break. I wonder who his
last TNA opponent will be. Jeff Jarrett?

Can not see it being Jeff tbh .. I think it is time for him to
give it up , he is always hurt and his body needs time off . I
can not see him going to WWE because of his age and health but
TNA would be a great place to end his run .

WWE will jump on him in seconds after his TNA contract expires.
He'll get a Legends contract and a Hall Of Fame induction, maybe
even a short run. Unfortunately, TNA is in a much weaker
position without him. Dave Scherer of PWInsider told Jim Ross
that he considers ROH the 'number 2 wrestling organisation in
the US'. I'm beginning to agree.

WWE had an opportunity to sign Kurt Angle, but passed
unfortunately. There was a bit of a rumor about HHH not wanting
Kurt Angle due to WWE's focus on younger talent, and then Angle
supposedly tried to go over HHH's head by talking to Vince
himself, who supports HHH. Should be noted that Angle said he
resigned with TNA the last time because he felt like they
treated him very well. Even sticking by him when he was pulled
over for drunk driving. Dixie herself has stated that she'd love
to have Angle's active wrestling career end in TNA, so I'm sure
they'd be willing to meet his demands. All that said, Angle is
looking towards the film industry more than anything else. I'm
sure he wants to wrestle again, and get into the WWE Hall of
Fame, but he's more concerned about having a career after
wrestling. I don't think he wants the default Legends contract
and all the limitations that come with it, so he's trying to
build a niche for himself now so that he can command a better
deal in the future. One thing WWE loves, it's a wrestler in a
movie working with them. It means great promotion for them and
whatever event they have coming up, Wrestlemania most likely.
As for TNA losing Angle, I think if the rumors about the
supposedly big returning star pans out, it'll soften the blow.

It is not like Kurt is carrying RNa anymore . So it will not be
a big problem for them. WWE are always bring in older guys
like bully and Devon and sting and Joe so that is BS ... At the
end of the day Kurt is old now and he can not work WWE all the
time like the rest of the roster tbh ..
Look at RVD he is happy to come and go when ever WWE are wanting
him ..
