TNA Knockout Champion Brooke Interview

Brooke ,ms he talks about winning the knockouts championship,
being her self , TnA and more
Congratulations on winning the TNA Knockouts Championship. How
does it feel to be holding the title?
It is a really awesome feeling. It was kind of expected for it
to happen that way. It’s been a long time, I’ve been waiting
three years to be in this position and it’s exciting to be doing
it the way I want to, with the character I want to, just being
myself when I come out there a happy, spunky, excited, athletic
person that the fans get behind.
What is it like being a female in a male dominated business?
Well I feel like that is really something of the past, you are
now seeing women get pushed to the top more and more. At IMPACT
we’ve always gotten 9-12 minute matches, now would I like to see
two or three segment? Yes, but we are getting there. To me it is
a male driven atmospher, but we are making are mark, being
heard, the fans are being heard, we’ve set the bar high and
compares around us are following suit. It’s really cool to see
the change and it’s great to be a part of that.
Is this the closest to the actual real-life Brooke that we’ve
seen yet in TNA?
Yes, 100% and it all started when I got into the ring with the
rest of the ladies and Christie announced there would be a Night
of Knockouts and I started jumping up and down. I thought I’m
going to be Brooke and I’m going to see if these people will
love Brooke, and i’m going to be the happy crazy over the top
Brooke that I usually am and see what i can do with it. Since
then I have blossomed into being okay with myself. I’m a pretty
quirky over the top person, and I think the fans are loving it
also! This is the real me, the person you see every week is me.

I think she is the new face of the knockouts. She is cute and
she is a good in ringer.. I feel that she will be the next
velvet but for this to work she will have to work her ass off
and show the world that she is worth watching week in and week
out.. She is a big crazy and she comes a cross a bit over the
top too at times but I guess that is just who she is ..she needs
a good storyline e to get her some more time on TV too..
