RUMOUR: TNA to tour India
By: ChrissiCalvert Date: August 20, 2015, 4:50 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, TNA is planning
to tour India in late 2015. The deal is not finalized, but the
plan is to go to India and tape TV, “built around Mahabili
Sheera as the conquering hero.” This is the reason for his big
push as of late.
The talent has not been told that the tour is official, and they
only dates that the know for sure are the recently announced
live events. Talent are basically on call and waiting for
official details, they are allowed to take outside bookings, but
would have to cancel if TNA books a show.

India?

I do wish they would stop announcing things before they are
finalised. However, biggest open market in the world and they
have TV presence there? A Sensible move.

To be fair, they aren't really announcing anything. This is
rumor mills, which according to this report, says they only gave
their talent a heads up. It's an important market that they've
been trying to penetrate for a long time now, ever since Ring Ka
King. So I would imagine that they'd want their talent to be as
open as possible if they get all the dates they want.

Sorry you are right Sharkboy, it is only rumour. But when stuff
leaks like this, then it doesn't happen they look like they've
"lost ANOTHER Deal", as opposed to a tour falling through.

It was a great show and it opened doors for them in India

Ring Ka King was the most watched TV show of all time anywhere.
5 Millions Viewers, it's just that there are that many people in
India it wasn't a great percentage audience so no one picked
them up for a second season.
