The Hulk Hogan scandal is drawing reactions from everyone in the
industry, to no one’s surprise. MVP, Iron Sheik and Matt Hardy
have all taken to Twitter to comment, as seen below:

What's bad about this against Hogan is this happened 8 years
ago, and now they bring it up? Why does Booker T get to say the
same thing that Hogan did and he gets away with it. Talk about
double standard. I hope Hogan fights this and sues WWE big time.
Just because one person is white and one person is black doesn't
mean that either both are punished or both are let go.

8 years ago is a long time and WWE resigned his after he left
TNA anyway so why is it all coming out now ? I am with u when it
comes down to black people saying it but if a white guy says
it.hell jicks off..
I hate hulk but i really think this is a wast of time...

As a Hispanic who has lived in the US all over the state of
Illinois, I've experienced racism from all kinds of people.
Varying levels of it too. Look at Hogan's comments, they are bad
and pretty horrible. That said, they are taken in a context
knowing that A) this was filmed without Hogan's permission B)
that Hogan has openly stated he was not in a good place during
this time and C) 8 years is plenty of time to evolve and change
ones views. To be frank, the thing I find most disgusting is the
National Enquirer paparazzi rag that "broke" this story. I read
their article and it's a complete character assassination piece.
The comments were disgusting and very disappointing to hear. It
would be out of anybodies mouth, but Hogan has never taken it
upon himself to do anything publicly like some personalities who
actually profit off of controversial statements like comparing
homosexuals to bestiality. Society is casting a judgmental frown
upon Hogan that I don't entirely believe he deserves. I'm sure
time will heal all wounds in the end though.

8 years is a long time , and I am not a fan of hulk but he needs
to sue them for this story and it is very hatful to hulk too.. I
really think WWE will be in hot water with hogan and maybe TNA
?. They did pull him DVDs and took him on their website? But
saying that TNA was not the one who got rid of him over it so
idk where they stand with him ,

too? Everyone might believe racism only exists in the South but
it also exists in wrestling

Hogan is THE name when it comes to wrestling so of course there
will be repercussions with him using that word.
WWE did the right thing in firing him
