Manik was this weeks guest on the V2 Podcast. He spoke about a
number of topics surrounding TNA, you can listen to the podcast
here. Here are some interesting highlights.
       On TNA’s TV Schedule:
“Upcoming is the Armageddon of TV Tapings, like 9 straight days,
that’s a long time. Compared to 2 years ago were we were in a
different city for TV ever other week and on the road for other
shows, I would only be home a few days and back out. Now we will
tape a block then be off for quite some time, or some people
have other projects and appearances which is really cool for the
office to allow them to do, I rarely do them though. People jump
to a conclusion that this is so negative for the wrestlers
without considering the positive side. We like to do more than
just wrestle. Some fill their time with other wrestling
appearances, action roles, I stay at home mostly. Its not a
       negativity at all.”
       On TNA’s Pay:
They essentially pay us really good money, great money to stay
at home as very few of us are on pay per appearance contracts.
I’m not actually sure which I liked more, I know I love being at
home though. All of us get guaranteed money, then bonus pay for
each appearance. I think people seem to blank out the positive
part and just listen to per appearance and come to the
assumption that everyone is on per appearance contracts because
they cant afford to pay them”
