TNA Most ridiculous gimmick matches in history
By: tnafan Date: June 27, 2015, 11:15 am
       ---------------------------------------------------------
Hello guys and girls I am going to be doing a run down of some
of the most ridiculous Ginny matches in TNAs History.
Please get involved and tell me what you all think about my.list
and what wouk you add to the list and things ..
       Number 1 TNAs Casket Match.
We first Sew this match in TNA back in 2007 at Destination X ,
where we sew Sting vs Abyss.. the way you win is by putting your
opponent on the Casket and they will rise above the ring .
What makes it ridiculous is that the ring was decorated with
candles and fake tombstones for who knows whatever reason and it
looked like TNA have just got them from a kids hollow party . as
well as seeing both men selling any blows they received from the
fake tombstones it just made the match look sloppy and not real
       at all

MATCH number 2 Elevation X Match
Another horrible TNA gimmick match, the Elevation X match is a
variation of a Scaffold match where two scaffolds are set up
above the ring in the form of an X, having the same stipulations
and issues I brought up with the regular version of the match.
The way you win is by throwing your opponent off it ..
  HTML http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Q754Sp7rL-8
Also like to add . In this match u can not do a lot of power
moves Like suplex and throws just because she's so high abovethe
Rings and it is too dangerous
       Number 3 lockbox Challenge
This was one of enough low points within the Knockouts division
       in TNA last year.
Eight women in the Knockouts division competed in an elimination
match where anyone who successfully landed a pinfall would get a
key to use in unlocking one of four lock boxes.
Just what happened to be in the lock boxes?
Let's see: the pet spider of Tara, a contract to face anyone in
a match under any stipulations, a mandate to do a striptease and
       the TNA Knockouts Championship.
Read those last two clearly: striptease and championship.
Essentially, those created two low blows for the Knockouts
Division. It made the women appear to be no more than eye candy
like the WWE Divas division, and it killed the credibility of
the Knockouts Championship from having someone win it in a game
       of Russian roulette.
       Thank you, Bischoff and Hogan!

       Number 4 .
well this is one of them matches what just sucked from the get
       go. Electric Steel Cage Match
We only sew this match one time.in TNA and that was In 2007 when
Team 3D took on LAX at Lockdown. However, the so-called
"electric" cage was more of a fly killer than a lion cage
TNA was using lighting and the violent shaking of whomever made
contact with the cage to try creating the illusion of being
electrocuted, However, audiences in attendance and watching the
       PPV were not so convinced.
This was not done right and very sloppy and it looked like their
was no asset under tension being put into this gimmick match
       Number 5 reverse battle Royal
This match for me is the most confusing match of the list
Used as part of TNA's Fight for the Right Tournament to
determine a number one contender for the World Heavyweight Title
in 2006 and 2007, the Reverse Battle Royal served as the first
       stage for the tournament.
In the match, 16 or 18 wrestlers are outside of the ring
fighting to try entering the ring.
When seven or eight wrestlers are able to enter the ring, those
remaining outside are eliminated, and those within the ring will
then engage one another under traditional battle royal rules
       with over-the-top rope eliminations.
When the ring is down to two wrestlers, then it turns into a
regular singles match where the winner advances to the Finals.
The rules for the match certainly come across as confusing to
casual wrestling fans which combined with the awkward chemistry
between wrestlers during the first part of the match

       6 Blindfold Cage Match
Give thanks to Vince Russo for putting James Storm and Chris
Harris in this sorry excuse of a match from Lockdown in 2007. It
was not very nice to watch , seeing two great wrestlers working
a sloppy match .. was not very funny
Blindfolds and steel cages don't exactly mix all too well.

That is just 6 matches what piss me off lol .. I think TNA have
had some crazy gimmick matches what did not work out for them .
Also missed out the one where u have to handcuff your opponent
       to the cage

I liked the Last Rites match personally. I enjoy the concept of
the casket in the middle of the ring and I felt like it produced
some good spots. Keeping the casket match in the middle of the
ring as opposed to the side. Decorations were silly, but again,
were used well in the match. I thought the Casket match between
Anderson and Bully Ray got it right, despite them ripping off
the casket door. Same for the Elevation X match. Scaffold
matches are built on the drama of falling and I think those
matches produced quality results for what they were. Would not
be against another one. The rest I agree about being a waste of
       time and energy.

[/quote]. I do not get how tara got her pet back but she lost
her knockouts championship . It was not like anyone cashed it in
       to win it .
