KURT ANGLE REVEALS RETIREMENT PLANS, DESTINATION AMERICA, ETHAN
CARTER AND MORE

TNA Star Kurt Angle was available to the press today for a
Slammiversary PPV conference call. Below are some quick and
interesting things Kurt Angle had to say about TNA.
– Kurt said he wants to see TNA get back to the way it was in
2008 and 2009 and have the people to do it
– Angle said that while he did say he planned on retiring at the
end of this year, he currently has no plans to retire in the
next two years.
– Kurt revealed that Destination America did back him as World
Heavyweight champion. He believes that his olympic medal wins
and his all-American character is what moved Destination America
and TNA to have him carry the company at the moment.
– Angle did note that he has enjoyed Ethan Carter III’s work and
that he went to the company last year and told them that they
would need to put the title on Carter soon.

To be fair, Kurt Angle only ever said this was supposed to be
his last full time year. We'll see I suppose, but damn if he
ain't putting on some quality matches.
