What do you think about the X-division title? has it lost all me

I understand that the title has lost a lot of meaning over.the
years and The X-Division was the making of TNA back in the day .
But is it now the mid card title?. Since the tv/legends title
is no longer and TNA have now got rid of it, and from what i
have read on the wedsites and Impacts website the X-Division had
a weight restriction of 220 pounds. ( was made by Hogan ) i
believe. But on impact this week jeremy borash made a comment
that the title has no weight limit. Since when was that
announced and if it is true why are we getting the same guys in
multi man matches each week? i mean no weight restriction means
we could see bram storm gunner anderson lashley etc. People who
need a title and yet we still get the same weight restricted
guys for what? a spot fest. So what do you guys think? should we
still get the same guys or should we actually get mid card upper
mid card guys holding it ?
What do you all think about this then guys and girls let us know

I think it is a wast of time . TNA have killed it a long time
ago now and they are trying to 're make it but tbh they have
tryed to many times and took so much away from it

Weight limit was lifted ages ago, remember, Abyss has been X
       Division champ......
Theres nothing wrong with the current X Division roster. We have
guys like Spud, Crazzy Steve & Mark Andrews who are still making
their marks, The Wolves can feature in the division.
We also have Austin Aries, Robbie E, Kenny King, Zema, Manik,
       Low Ki, Drew Galloway.
TNA just need to start pushing the right guys and use the
       division properly

Abyss was the champion before the Weight limit . Because he won
it and part of the story was abyss being to big for it ect

What do you want? Every time TNA tries to have them just wrestle
like before, fans complain the matches are random. Everytime a
storyline is down, it's considered lukewarm. What does "bringing
back the X-Division" even mean in a age where the X-Division
style is more of the norm these days than anything else.
X-Division just used to mean non-stop wrestling, where the world
heavyweight championship scene had a much more "storyline" focus
in comparison. There's another problem, the X-Divsion has had to
compete with the Knockout's Division for a long time now.
Something that's become just as synonymous with the company.
They have the roster, they have the matches, and they try to
have storylines, but it seems like nobody really cares about it
anymore if only to bring up the nostalgia of what it used to be.
While I'd love to see more 20-minute matches, I also enjoy those
weekly multiman matches. I think once the whole feud of
Styles/Joe/Daniels concluded, the whole thing took a focus
toward a more "fun" aspect of pro wrestling.
Also, I believe they did away with the weight limit. Joe was
champion just last year and Kenny King is 230 lbs. according to
       his roster profile.
Personally, I'd like the X-Division Championship to be open up
to anyone on the roster. If Grado can wrestle for it, why can't
       Bram?

^^^ I love your posters you talk so much logical argument and
sense. I think TNA have tryed to many times to 're make it and
it takes a lot anyway from it now . Hogan killed it off a long
time ago too.. I do not like the way u can cash in the belt for
a shot at the big time ( world championships) it makes the x
       division belt feel weak

Well put Sharkboy. Its the same as the other secondary titles in
North American Wrestling, unless you actually give them some
pomp and circumstance they don't mean anything. John Cena's US
Title run shows it; a simple strong narrative, a regular title
match and a cast of characters, the title means something again
for the first time in years. ALL the titles in NJPW will
headline a show this year at some point. ALL of them because
they put weight behind what the title means and the narratives
are clear and simple championship chases.
Meanwhile in TNA, the belt gets lost in the shuffle over and
       over again.

[/quote] Spud is a class A for that he lost the belt just to win
it back 2/3 weeks later to cash it in

The US Championship has always been on and off again, but it's
had a good couple of reigns with Rusev and Cena for sure.
Personally, I think the X-Division needs a strong blood feud. A
large part of the resurgence in the US Championships was Rusev
vs Cena. TNA have tried to have a weekly X-Division match with
the three way format (something I personally loved) and people
complained it was too much three ways with no storytelling.
Despite the quality of matches. What the X-Division needs at
this point is a strong storyline. An actual feud, and to build
on that from there. You can't just put wrestlers out there
without drawing ire from storyline fans. The X-Division needs a
strong storyteller in addition to it's athletics. Don't do a
weekly title defense though. Maybe have a separate ranking
       system for the X-Division Championship.

It seems to me that TNA have a problem in floating back and
forth between Storytelling and great in ring work, like they
shuffle back and forth between ROH style booking and WWE style
booking. It is not to much to ask to have both though.
