Hello guys and girls . I have some great news for you all . I
had the changes this week to interview one of the best x
division champions in TNA today!
We talked about a number of this in this great and exclusive
interview with manik !
Check it out guys .
The First time we saw you in a TNA ring was back in 2004 when
you was working under the name of Puma. how did the opportunity
to work for TNA come to light ?
***It was right before TNA had its first ever monthly PPV and
switched over to Spike TV. I spent 2003 living in Mexico and
working and training full time for CMLL. When I got home from
Mexico a floodgate of opportunities had come up for me in
America. I was contacted to appear for MLW, IWA Mid South, Ring
Of Honor, The Super 8 tournament(which I was held off for 2004
because they felt my exposure was too high), other tournaments
such as the Ted Petty and the Jeff Peterson Cup, and finally
TNA. I was scheduled for a match on their Xplosion TV taping and
then shortly after that I returned for Victory Road 2004, their
first ppv.
If you could have a dream match with anyone who would it be and
what type of match and why?
***i would go back in time and wrestle Eddy Guerrero. He is
everything I've ever aspired to be as a wrestler.
What is the big differences between working in Japan and working
in the states for you ?
***Almost none. Superficial stuff aside, the job is exactly the
same.
You have been part of one of the main storylines in TNA with
James storms for the several months now. how does it feel to be
working so close with james?
***he's really an undervalued performer in my opinion. He is
really great at everything you can ask for, he's very smart and
accommodating in the ring, he's always seeking to get the job
done by committee. He's a great coworker and I have a lot of
respect for him because those qualities are quite rare to be
honest.
Have you ever been offered any type of contract / try out match
by WWE? if so when ?
***i first wrestling for a WWF development company when I was
16, for UPW in California. When I was about 21-22 I also started
wrestling dark matches and tryout matches at RAW and Smackdown.
In 2009 I moved to Florida and walked on at FCW as a new trainee
without a contract. I never received any long term offers.
what can we expect in the up coming weeks of impact for Manik ?
***Unprecedented levels of SWAG
Do you like playing heel or face more ?
***Doesn't matter
TNA have pushed a lot of there young talent over the last
several years from maguse to ECIII and spud . But who do you
think is the next break out star and why?
***Maybe Bram. I mean, look at the guy.
What do you think about TNA bring in former WWE stars and giving
them a big push on TV ? Does this effect the rest of the locker
room?
*** That's sort of an assumed generalization. In the last few
years TNA has signed and turned the following guys into regular
characters, Spud, Zema Ion, Jesse Godderz, Robbie E, Kenny King,
Sam Shaw, Myself, Brittany(since moved on), Tigre Uno, Crazy
Steve, Rebel, Havok, Khoya, Gunner.
Over the course of the company timeline they've also invested
heavily into guys like Bobby Roode, AJ Styles, Eric Young,
Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, Magnus, Austin
Aries, Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, Kong, The Machine Guns, Sonjay
Dutt, Jay Lethal, Petey Williams, and many more.
None of these performers qualify as former WWE stars. For the
most part their choice in former WWE stars, when it comes up, is
usually great additions like Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, Bobby
Lashley, etc.
What is your opinion on blood in wrestling? Do you think it
should be banned ?
***No opinion
You have been wrestling for 16 years Now all over the world .
But what is your stand out match and who with?
***i don't really see wrestling like that. A match is a match is
a match. Some are better than others but once I get out of the
ring I leave each match behind and move on. I've been wrestling
since 1998, with any luck I'll still be wrestling by 2028, maybe
longer. So I tend not to dwell on any matches, whether for good
or bad reasons.
Is there any talents (male or female) out there on the
independence scene that you would like to see join TNA?
***i don't watch any indy wrestling really. There's a ton of
talented guys out there but it would be unfair of me to try and
answer when I haven't really seen a lot lately,
Lucha Libre star Perro Aguayo JR passed away this week after
suffering some serious injuries.
You was his tag team partner in that match. did you ever think
anything was wrong with him and can you put some light on the
whole situation for us?
***Out of respect for Perrito's family and for Rey and Konnan I
won't be broaching this subject.

Would like to add to this poster by saying he is one hell of a
man . I bet a lo. of you did not know he mad his first debut
over 11 Ago for tna ..

Manik is one of the best wrestlers in TNA in my opinion. Any
match with him in is gonna be top class.
