TNA upsetting independent shows

Alot of TNA stars work independent shows o make more money when
they are not being used oin TNATV or at house show ,but it is
looking like this is all going to change soon, TNA has
reportedly changed their policy regarding allowing contracted
talent to appear on DVDs of independent shows. also of people
thik this is to do with money and not wanting other independent
shows makingmoney of there guys. For the last eight years, TNA
have allowed indy promotions to sell DVDs featuring TNA talent
as long as the promotion was selling it directly and not through
third parties (aka Amazon, Best Buy etc).
The talk that is going ariound on the net and from people within
TNA is that TNA as a company is changing that policy and they
will no longer allow their talent to appear on any independent
DVDs sold online, even if sold directly by the promotion. This
is going to stop alot of independent shows from wanting to book
TNA talents getting booked by other parties, which could be a
hit to both the talent and the indy promotions.
TNA have not said anything about this yet , they are keeping
their everything on a need t o know until they have come to
something .
TNA has not yet responded to requests for comment.

The reason for the change in their policy is because of injures.
A few years ago Scott Steiner worked a house show overseas and
got hurt. Also Kevin Nash got hurt in Japan when TNA worked with
New Japan Pro Wrestling.

O yer thats true , but tna are still letting themwork shows but
just not being part of the DVDs so to me that is todo with
money.

I agree with that looks like is more about money cause there's a
lot of stars that has been doing a lot of independent shows such
as rosita and sarita. I wounder if Sarita is going to have to
quite the CMLL Promotion in mexico now. Shes been doing a lot of
shows for them for the past couple of months.

No it nottodo with letting them do shows tna are ok with that ,
it is to do with showing them on dvds , tna will let themwork
shows as long has they are not on the dvds they sell. thats what
it is saying mate :)

CMLL has got dvds also and I think they show saritas matches on
there dvds thats what I was wondering.

I can understand this. It's called protecting your assets. Of
other promotions is making money off your talent this it's
almost pointless to call them your talent to begin with.
