Has TNA Impressed You?
By: spaintnafan Date: March 18, 2015, 7:12 pm

We are a couple of months into TNA on its new channel and while
there are still issues(like no tv deal here in Canada but at
least we can watch it with no commercials on youtube the next
day), there have been a lot of changes. Question is, has TNA
impressed you at all since the switch?
For me, I like what I am seeing. They have brought in some new
talent and brought back some older talent but seem to be using
them well. Sucks that Joe left since he seemed to be getting a
good push but sometimes those things can't be avoided. But I do
think the shows are getting better all the time and really liked
this last episode. Only thing that bothered me was the
piledriver in the Roode/Young match - if it is supposed to be so
devastating, then make it devastating and don't have the guys
kick out of it so quickly(at least both guys still acted weak
afterwards so that's something). But I do think they are
improving. Can they sustain that? Wait and see since they have
done this in the past too but I do think there is a noticeable
improvement in the product and I am liking it way more than wwe
right now.

I love watching TNA & I think it has improved
since the move to Destination America. There
seems to be a new energy to the shows now.
Perhaps they feel they have to prove themselves
on a new channel? Or could it just be the evolution
of the brand?
Either way it feels as if there's a new momentum
to each show and even each match.
The Rockstar Spud vs EC3 Hair vs Hair match, was
the best this year(so far). I was lucky enough to see
It live & the energy did come across on the TV but
it seems that the crowd noise is muted. We raised the roof
Of Wembley.
Over-all very excited as to where TNA is heading & can't wait
to see the recent tapings in Orlando.

It looks like TNA are going back to there old ways What is great
to see.
Kong vs kim was one of reasons the knockouts got out on the map.
They are also bring back a lot of old guys too .

The only thing I would like to add to the following posters what
have been posted before me is one thing . TNA have got to do
some live shows again and not film 8 IMPACTS on a row. The fans
will read spoilers before they get to see it. This will not help
with ratings

Fact is, house shows and live tapings are expensive. For some
reason TNA can't draw the same crowds from the live tapings into
the house shows, and those live tapings don't do that much
better business to justify the expenses involved. In a time
where TNA is running on much more lean style of business, it's
important for them to pick and choose their battles. Personally,
I'd prefer TNA make plans to expand their international business
and do special tapings or house show tours around the world. I'd
love to see a One Night Only ppv in India, I'd love to see a
string of Impacts shot in Canada or Germany, and I'd love to see
another big PPV in Japan, maybe even Mexico if they can partner
up with somebody.
As for spoilers, fans need to grow up. It's as simple as not
clicking on them. It's understandable if a click-baiting
headline ruins it for you, but majority of the time, it's very
easy to simply avoid those sources. Unless something very major
happens, like Bully Ray powerbombing Dixie, Jeff Hardy falling
on steel steps, and Kurt Angle winning what might be his last
world title ever, you gotta string up the will power to not
slide your mouse an inch to the right, and move your index
finger down. I understand the difficulty of it all, but once you
kick the habit, wrestling becomes so much better. It did for me
anyway!
TNA has been impressive for me ever since it got me back into
wrestling in 2012. I'm impressed even more because they've
developed a unique visual presentation and are focused on long
story lines with meaningful endings. Spud vs EC3 and Roode vs
Young have been some of the best things I've seen on my TV in
2015. There's an air of creative freedom that you just don't get
in WWE, but the creative direction for the storylines stand-out.
I love that TNA has embraced a more gritty and lean production.
This along with Lucha Underground make me realize how much I
appreciate it. Everything feels more "real" and important than
WWE's bright lights and super arenas.
