It's a serious issue, the old head injury thing. I remember Matt
Morgan tried to highlight the issue when Mr Anderson was
fighting injured. What happened with Benoit was a recognized
medical condition that had been overlooked when funding was
getting handed out (this does not excuse his behavior in any
way), this is not the case today greatly helped by the whole
Benoit debacle.

Yes, I do. Someone at WWE had to have noticed some sort of
behavioral changes no matter how slight and it was stated they
knew in the E!ntertainment biography. He should have, at very
least be offered support regularly. WWE didn't kill him but they
may as well have.

Do i think its right that WWE have "forgotten" about Chris
Benoit? No I dont, he was one of the stars that helped shape the
Attitude era. Yes what he did to his family was unforgivable but
surely they can separate his professional life from his private
life.
Did WWE give him the help needed before he did what he did? Who
knows and i guess we will never will.

?

These sort of injuries take place over an extended time frame.
It's not jist one injury that causes the trauma, it's a buildup
of injuries and a cocktail of steroids not helping the matter.
There would have to be a mandatory screening program at
basically every contact sport and that costs money, money which
companies like WWE don't want to pay.

I cant see any wrestling company being prepared to pay for
medical screenings after every match for their stars.
However even if they did it once a month then it may make some
difference to stop the same thing happen again.
