TNA makes history tonight!

Tonight on Impact Wrestling it is Lashley vs. MVP. 2 Black
wrestlers in the main event. When was the last time WWE did
that?

A good point well made, but when has WWE had more than one Black
star?

Not entirely true, but the point does stand. Let's not forget
that Rock is African American and they've done nothing but roll
that red carpet out for him. Plus, Mark Henry has been given one
big monster push after another, before finally finding what I
would say his greatest success in the Hall of Pain. The last
time there was a major main event between two black wrestlers
might have been Rock vs Booker T at Summerslam 2001. It's not as
bad as latinos or asians in my opinion. I mean, when was the
last major asian world champion? Has there ever even been one in
the states? At least Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, and Alberto
Del Rio made it as far as they did.

The last Asian World Champion to hold and predominantly American
title would have been NWA Champ Masa Chono back in 1992, before
that Baba in the late seventies.

That's a bit different as far as nationality to race, and you
know they are an American company so why would they push British
wrestlers at all? Given that though Bad News Barrett is IC
Champ, Steve Regal, Davey Boy, Dynamite, they have been doing it
foor 30 years.

People have to let that go in regards to this topic. He still
counts at the end of the day. There aren't any Americans who
aren't at least somewhat bi-racial thanks to centuries worth of
immigration, slavery, and genocide. Barack Obama doesn't even
get that much scrutiny in regards to race and his mom is an
actual white woman! He's unanimously known as the first black
president. So why is the Rock not considered it as well? Is his
Samoan heritage that much of a distraction?
Also, I'm not trying to say you're racist or anything like that
either. This is actually a pretty interesting topic to discuss
and feel free to say whatever as openly as you can.
