       Former Knockout Wins NWA Title

       Last night at an event in Plant City, Florida, former TNA
       Knockout Santana Garrett – formerly known as Brittany – defeated
       Barbi Hayden to become the new NWA World Women’s Champion.
       Santana won the match following a super kick and a Shining Star
       Press. She tweeted about her big victory late last night:

       Hayden had held the title for 378 days. Santana follows in the
       footsteps of many of women’s wrestling’s finest, from The
       Fabulous Moolah to Mildred Burke and Leilani Kai, who have held
       the title since its inception in 1935.
