       RUMOR: TNA Attempted To Sign Former WWE Star?

       TNA sent out feelers in an attempt to sign former WWE Star Edge
       to their roster as an authority figure, according to a report by
       PWInsider.com’s Elite section.
       Word has it that TNA and Edge did not have any serious
       conversations but that TNA did put out some feelers to see if
       Edge would be interested. The indication is that Edge was not
       interested and no discussions beyond that were made.
       TNA was set to use him in an authority role following Kurt Angle
       being placed back on the active roster.

       Would have been interesting to see, although I think Christian
       is better suited for that role if he ever becomes free. I don't
       think Edge wants to be held down by any particular contract too
       outside of appearances here and there.

       Edge wouldnt do it anyways. Hes too busy with Haven and his
       little girl
