As you can see all Doug said back to his tweet was not if it was

That reminds me of the time, CM Punk told a fan to kill himself,
then backtracked on it. Will say, Masters was the worst of them
all because he accompanied his stupidity with a picture of a gun
to his head. =/

their self you got to look at it on both sides . what give a fan
the right to tell a tna or wwe fans to die ? nothing dones so

I agree it was not the wisest thing to say to any fan however
reading the "fan" tweets this guy doesn't strike me as someone
who really wanted to commit suicide either. The same guy went on
to say,"Joseph F ‏@josephf5
@DougWilliamsUK @SiOReilly I'm much more offended by being
called a "fan" than I am by being told to kill myself." That
tells me straight up he was just out looking for attention in
the first place. There is no other evidence on Twitter that this
"fan" was suicidal nor mentioned it to anyone else. I'm not
taking up for what Douglas said but I'm just looking at the
evidence.

Its a non story. A storm in a teacup. A trifle. A nothing.
Twitter is full of shit like this all the time the only surprise
is that it doesn't happen more often. People troll famous people
then act all surprised and hurt when they retaliate. Admittedly
that isn't the scenario in this case, this is a bit more odd but
it doesn't see to have any real malice it just seems to be badly
judged.

yer but when people look up to you and then you say that , do
you not think being on tv or being famous stops you from saying
things like that..
people went mad when master had a good to his own head . but
when doug tells someone to kill there self thats ok why is it.
yes twitter i full of shit but when you come famous you have to
think before you talk .

It looks to me like he's making a very poor, badly misfired joke
rather than giving advice or being malicious.
Its not worth getting stressed about. The person he said it to
hasn't killed themselves so no harm no foul.
The difference between this and Punks episode is tone, context
and intent. This looks harmless. When Punk did it he looked
serious

This is the major problem with social media these day's. Its too
easily used to ruin peoples careers and make decent people look
bad! i mean what was the post Doug was repling to? The 'fan'
could have slagged off him and his family. Then dougs reply
looks fine. But because theres no sign of the orignal message we
all left to make our own decsion on what the story is here. I
swear twittah and Stalkbook are going to start killing people
soon and we will all be left wondering why we accepted them so
quickly into our lives. I wouldn't use them if everything wasn't
so tightly knitted to them both these days. I argee there are
great points to them both too but only when used with a good
sense of right from wrong.
