Chat with Taryn: Talks Wrestling, Being a mom & more

TNA Wrestling star Taryn Terrell insists she won’t stop doing
“crazy” moves in the ring – despite being a new mum.
The 28-year-old babe took almost a year off from the business to
welcome her first child Emerson in March, but she has no plans
to tone down the risky wrestling style which helped her win over
her critics prior to her break.
Terrell’s series of matches with veteran Gail Kim, including a
daring Ladder Match, made fans take her more seriously after
entering the industry as a model and actress with no knowledge
       in the ring.
She said: “I wish I could say yes, I’m going to tone it down,
       but I can’t.
“I’ve got my baby in the back of my mind, I know have to go home
and take care of her, but at the same time, what I do in the
ring is special and the matches that I’ve had with Gail are
       magic.
“I’m not going to take that away from the fans, or my passion –
so I do have my baby at the back of my mind, I do everything I
can to be safe out there, but what I love is doing the crazy
       stuff.
“I wouldn’t be satisfied if I was like, ‘I’m not going to do any
of the crazy stuff anymore.’ "
Terrell, one of TNA’s rising stars in the women’s division, made
her TV return in June but admits it was a long road to get back
into shape for arduous wrestling matches.
“You’re worried about going back into the ring, you think, ‘Am I
going to be able to do this without passing out from
       exhaustion?’” she said.
“It’s taken a little bit, getting back in there winded me a
little bit, but I started to get the hang of it again.
“Taking time off, to have a child or for an injury, it’s always
nerve-wracking. You’re in this mode of taking bumps and having
matches, and all of a sudden you don’t do it anymore and your
       body’s not used to it.”
The athletic star is also adamant TNA will live on following
concerns it could go out of business.
The company’s flagship TV show Impact Wrestling was recently
dropped by US cable channel Spike TV.
Confident Terrell said: “This company is not going away –
there’s no way. I’m not concerned. Wherever we go or end up, TNA
       Wrestling is here to stay.”
And Terrell cites the company’s female boss, Dixie Carter, as
being a driving force for change in the wrestling world –
       traditionally considered a man’s sport.
“There’s that connection and understanding with Dixie. I don’t
know if I had a child and I was with another company, if I’d be
able to come back and do exactly what I’ve done.
“If I can’t be as active on a certain day or if there’s an
opportunity I can’t take advantage of because I have a child at
       home, they understand.”

Not sure why. I've reset your priveleges back to normal, but
you won't see the hidden board.
