TNA made an offer to WHO????

TNA apparently made a play recently for CM Punk. It was said to
be done in similar fashion to how they reached out to Alberto
Del Rio, which is through an intermediary who is friends with
Punk.
The idea was that Punk would be the top star of the company with
pay similar to what Hulk Hogan was making when he was with the
promotion.
TNA was hoping that Punk could be their flagship star and if he
signed with them, could help them get a strong television deal.
Punk reportedly expressed ZERO INTEREST in working for TNA, or
in pro wrestling in general.
HOWEVER...
Sources in TNA, who have said there was no truth the story. “No
offer was made, officially or via an intermediary – no truth to
that rumor.”
People close to Punk are saying that he currently has no
interest in returning to pro wrestling, much less for TNA.
There were also reports over the weekend that CM Punk was
hanging out in the locker room at a live event for Ohio Valley
Wrestling. While Punk was at the show (as a guest of Cliff
Compton), he was not in the locker room and was not socializing
with the wrestlers there. Punk was there to visit OVW owner
Danny Davis.

I doubt it. No. 1) Spike TV footed Hulk Hogan's contract. If
Spike isn't going renew with TNA as is, why would they invest
another huge luge of cash into one star, even if it is CM Punk.
2) Punk's visit to OVW says it all. He was there to support
friends alone.
Really, I think TNA is more interested in diversifying their
roster and not in building up one guy who hasn't really had the
kindest words for TNA and that was based off his experience in
the Asylum days when guys like Jeff Jarrett and Dusty Rhodes
were in charge.

You forgot the biggest reason of all: PUNK HATES TNA.
His run there didnt end well and he has said in the past that he
would never go back there

That's what I was thinking when I mentioned the words bit.
Although, I do wonder if he'd be interested in working in ROH
again, even if it's owned by Sinclair, although I don't think
he'd be too happy with how his friend Colt Cabana was treated.
You never know, but I think the general consensus at this point
is that it's more about being done with pro wrestling.

CM Punk will not come to TNA or ROH . he has said so many times
in the past that he will not come back to TNA.
but with that said i think cm punk has nothing to prove in tna
anyway he has done it all ..

I hope this is a rumor because I doubt Punk will wrestle for
TNA, plus I think he's better off retired

There's an old adage of "Never say Never". Things could change
on who might show up in TNA. If the money and conditions are
right you never know what might happen.

been making a lot of cuts .

This one we can safely say never, he was on more money than
TNA's operating budget and doesn't want to wrestle anymore.
