PG is here to stay my friends, none of the shareholders of WWE
are going to be happy about people being sliced and diced in
prime time. The key issue is good story telling and characters
you care about. I think taking the handbrake of is worth while,
I think letting the talent be the talent is important.
A few weeks ago Dutch Mantell was on the art of wrestling and he
pointed out something. If you look at the most successful TV
shows of all time. Cheers, Friends, Seinfeld and MASH. They
where half hour comedys that had massive writing crews and at
most they where only producing 26 shows a year. So how can the
WWE be on top form every week for three hours? It can not be
done with those resources. I'll agree restraints don't help, and
what certainly doesn't help is a talent pool who never worked in
an environment where they had to think on their feet. So the
breakouts of last year CM Punk and Daniel Bryan became breakouts
because they had worked the Indies for so long and learned
everything they could about wrestling. Something the FCW
recruits just don't have; experience and knowledge. So more
experienced stars will help., but to keep up that quality they
need either more writing staff or a shorter show.
[/quote] yer pg is staying and I bet tna will go pg sooner than
later.. It bring in more kids.. I see tna getting more pg as
the years go on . Been a fan for 9 1/2 years so I remember when
we sew the kos in a cage or a street fight and the 1000 tack
       match .

To be honest I prefer straight wrestling matches so PG doesn't
bother me so much. Joe and Austin Aries put on a brutal match
with no props required. I do think they need to be different
       though. Different is good.

Yer but it is some times nice to see a mad match like to what 2
guys just go out there and kick each others ass. Also it is good
to make a match like that with 2 guys who hate each just beat
       each other up ...

Well I guess I kinda got garbaged out lately I watched a lot of
90's FMW lately. That was terrifying stuff. No rope barb wire
double hell death exploding matches and the like.

up some of them crazy matches to show them new fans what tna use
to be like lol.... I think some of them matches are just crazy
. But if they want to be in them matches more for them lol

The trick is though you have to care about the guys in them.
When I watched Atsushi Onita vs Terry Funk in that no rope barb
wire exploding double hell Death Match all the time I was
thinking, Holy crap thats Terry Funk! That's part of the reason
why CZW sucks to me, I don't care enough about the guys.
