It has been confirm that former WWE and ecw star Rhino has been
signed on a long term deal what will keep him with TNA to until
Bound for glory, the other two name that have been signed by TNA
again is Homicide and Devon both of a full-time deal….
TNA confirmed that all three of them would be returning during
their New York City iMPACT! tapings and they all had featured
roles.

Interesting to see Devon return like that. I can see TNA booking
Team 3D against the Wolves, but I still think we're likely to
see them face the Hardy's.

As much as I like and respect those guys, I think its a mistake.
Younger guys would have been cheaper and a better long term
investment and goes against the grain of what they have been
doing; Signing young potentially great guys like EC3, Spud and
Sanada. Homicide I can understand, the X Division needs all the
help it can get but Rhino and Devon should have been short term
pop deals.

Depends on the plans. Devon makes sense because he's in the Hall
of Fame and they probably want to have at least him and Devon
active in the company since Angle might potentially leave for
one last run in the WWE. Having Team 3D would also be good for
the tag team division. Rhino is being used for his feud with
Bully Ray and quite frankly, he's almost always been used to
help elevate younger talent. Which is a plus for the younger
guys on the roster. I think you need a constant balance of old
and new to make the roster more desirable to watch. Rhino and
Devon being on the roster certainly won't hurt anybodies spot if
that's what you're worried about.

I'm not worried about the spot on the roster so much as the long
term cost. Guys of that stature come at that stature's price
tag, and they have done well promoting their own guys this year,
Spud and EC3 especially. If they can do that cheaply, why go
back to veterans who as much as they offer name value, aren't
going to be the future of the company.

I doubt TNA is breaking the break with Devon and Rhino when it's
all said and done. Plus, EC3 and Spud have been regularly
working with big name veteran talent for a while now. Sting,
Angle, Hardy as Willow, Bully Ray, and now guys like Devon,
Rhino, and Tommy Dreamer. I don't believe it'll harm the
direction they have, but only help it. In my opinion, you always
need a balance of young and old. Rhino being used well right now
and Devon is more than likely just gonna be used here and there
unless they pair him up with another young guy the way they did
with Garret Bischoff.

My minds still open as always, I just feel they had finally made
a homegrown star (EC3), I would say try again.

Homicide: is a former ROH World Champion, former TNA X Division
champ and a former TNA and NWA Tag team champion.
Rhino is a former ECW and TNA Affiliated NWA World's Champion,
former ECW TV champion.
Devon is one half of the Dudley Boys Tag Team 23 times champion
of the world for ECW, WWE, WCW, NWA, IWGP, HUSTLE and TNA.
Arguably one of the greatest tag teams of all time.
