TV Drama Serial set around Wrestling?, I'd watch it!

I really love wrestling and love the whole kayfabe thing, I have
to admit it does mess my head up a little bit (especially the
McMahons, lol)
But after seeing WWE NXT, which I really did like, and I've been
reading biographies on some of my favourite wrestlers which
lifted the lid on life living as a wrestler and it had made me
wonder now, as there is so much information now about the
wrestling world (yes, we know its rehearsed and fake- to a
degree, as you can still injure yourself, a Chair shot is STILL
a chair shot!)
So it's made me wonder if this is the right time to bring out a
TV drama serial set around the world of wrestling following the
lives and loves of a group of friends that go though a wrestling
school and then go on the road together. I would imagine this
wont be for kids, as there may be the topical issues of drug
use, domestic violence, infidelity and the many injuries some
wrestlers go through as well as the pressure life on the road
can get for their families. What is life REALLY like?, are the
hotels they stay at glamorous or are we talking just sleeping at
a crappy motel for a few nights. What do wrestlers do on their
time off, while on the road, they go out late night drinking and
partying?
What's life like being a face or a heel (especially as a heel,
I bet some fans get confused that they are only playing a
character and give those guys hell)
Bring in some serious writing, acting / wrestling talent and you
got great episodic TV, with great characters and great
cliffhangers. (Better than 'The Wrestler')
What you guys think? would you watch a show like this? :cheesy:

It's a hard sell. I know Billy Corgan is trying something with
his Resistance Pro indy promotion for a reality show on AMC. A
scripted drama though? I've seen plenty of pilots, but they
never get picked up unfortunately. Good ones too. Some with
major names, like Mick Foley and Mr. Anderson, and others
without. I'm surprised Spike TV never really got aggressive in
pushing wrestling harder on it's channel here in the states.
They seem to be addicted to showing Cops.
