A New Match type…'The Glass Cage'

If TNA REALLY want to have an edge over their competitors, (And
let's face it they really could if they wanted to, and aside
from the fact we still want the six sided ring come back into
play) I would really like to see a match type that plays in the
same sense as a tables match, in that if a challenger manages
to throw his opponent against the cage wall for him to break
through it, the challenger is declared the winner.
But why not take it up a notch?, have wrestlers inside a 'Glass
Cage'. Now I've seen hardcore matches where wrestlers are
thrown through stunt windows (Sugar glass I think it's called)
of which I think are detonated upon impact or just before they
'appear' to be thrown through it.
The idea appealed to me in the sense that this is a hardcore
match and this is a match that could last longer than 30 mins as
a main event match.
It has an element of danger about it, not seen since the
'Attitude Era' of WWE… (Which is STILL arguably the BEST era of
wrestling, I think the 1990's in general were mostly
experimental when it came to wrestling in any of the promotions
that aired)
When I first saw TNA and saw AJ Styles moonsault in the air, or
do some crazy bicycle kick across somebodies head, it was
something different and was running a completely different ball
game and that was the reason i watched and hoped and prayed, I
was watching something better than what WWE were doing, as WWE
at the time were not giving me as a fan of wrestling, what I
wanted, something quick firing, but edgy, something different.
That was what made me a fan, I really want TNA to become
successful and give us an alternative to whats already out
there. Instead of being another generic wrestling company. I
love what they are doing with tag team wrestling and the women's
division is (somewhat) taken seriously as far as actual
wrestling goes. To have a new match type would bring something
new to the table in addition to their ultimate X match (which is
an awesome match type in itself)
So what do you guys think? could it work?

That would not work TNA have tryed a lot Of Different and crazy
matches in the past but they have never worked . WWE have got
the hell in a cell match what is their stand out match TNA have
got to get their own stand out match like the KOTM match that
was different to TNA

Sounds unsafe for both talent and front row fans. Just imagine
one of those glass pieces falling off into somebodies eye.
Instant lawsuit.
