RUMOR: AJ Styles Asking Price For Independent Dates

so it looks like Former TNA Superstar AJ Styles is rumored to be
asking for approximately $2,500 foe each US independent
appearance he takes part in.. the reports go on to say that the
number id based on his independent bookings. so walking away
from TNA would appear to be the best call for him because he is
on a lot of money now he is working the indys again. remember
that the rumre was that TNA wanted to resign AJ with a pay cut
to $200,000 US Dollar range.
On the other hand, current search trends, which calculate the
popularity of average user searches show that the search term
‘AJ Styles’ has dropped over 57% since Styles last appearance on
TNA television.

It is still a balance point though, they aren't looking after
everything that TNA did for him.

They will play for some costs sure, but stuff like medical
insurance, consistent pay, setting up met and greets and small
things that bigger companies can do better just because they
have more man power.

I mean if he had stayed there i reckon tna would have turned him
into there version of cena. the guy everyone hates to love
though they still keep giving him the belt. i personally think
it was good he left. as well idk to me changed even in his
interview after he left tna his attitude seemed stuck up and
might be wrong but to thats how it came across.

I don't think that would have happened personally, and they need
a long term draw much like Cena who sells t shirts and merch in
epic numbers. They were clearly going that way you are right but
I wouldn't see it as a bad thing. ROH have done it with The
Briscoes as well, you need a one long term draw that is reliable
and constant and get the next one ready for when your current
one fades. I am glad they are giving that role to Bobby Roode
though, he is far more suited to it than anyone else on the
roster.
