well if you are under a deal with WWE they could because anyone
under a deal with WWE can only do tv and interviews what wwe
have said ok to .. it is in there deals

Punk has been noted for setting up his own deals for books, TV
interviews and various other projects so I guess we can assume
this was off his own bat too, as Chrissi said he is friends with
the host and that's why he does most things 'cause he likes to.

because they are real life friends i bet you WWE could not stop
him because he is just talking to a mate .. but yer i think punk
will do what he wants and no one will stop him at the end of the
day ..... it is not like he was hating on wwe and bitching about
WWE

he did not say nothing bad about wwe . it was just about the
show.. people do not understand that he has a life out side of
the ring.
