FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Beyond Borders - GAEA girls film.
Hello again!
Okay, so this is a little more unusual of a thing for me to
watch. It's more behind the scenes/explaining what Japanese
Wrestling is/ does differently. Apparently.
I am LOVING the Gaea girls intro!
Always fun to see clips of the 'best bits' of careers. I'm also
quite impressed by the footage they've taken so far. Clean but
not massively intrusive.
The kids wanting to be 'alive and shine' is also pretty nice to
see/hear/watch. I've never actually felt that myself, I just got
into my job by boredom.
It's quite interesting to see how different it is in Japan.
Whinging about short hair... LOL. Bless her.
Oi vey with the screaming.. it's a freaking test, shut up.
The quitter though, is she serious because that seems a little
weak.
What the hell is that creepy little bob thing they keep making
the newbie do? That looks wierd.
And two quitters? Really???
As for the final bout, the girl did well.

They do have a lot of people quit because its a very, very tough
environment. You have to remember they love there and basically
do wrestling training all day every day.
If she didn't shriek she would have failed the test. She was
showing her fighting spirit, so you can't have one without the
other, and remember Chigsau kept hounding her about her lack of
aggression.

Those were squats? they looked... odd.
Also, that squealing is just... creepy, but okay then.

Whatever they where they had to do a lot of them 500 a day for
ever exercise. Every day without fail. The screaming is cool
though to my ears adds to the aura.

Good god, I'd have collapsed.
Eh, I guess the screaming is easier if you get used to it,
that's just the first time I've actually noticed how loud it is.

I guess its because its a film and they are concentrating on the
wrestlers in a TV presentation they are are showing the whole
thing and a lot of it will get masked by the crowd.

The girls In japan are crazy as take a big beating and they will
bleed

Well you don't see men bleed in the WWE any more TNAFan, but
those matches specifically in the '80's and early 90's where
just some of the best wrestling I have ever seen anywhere.
