I am an American, so I don't understand why Some Scots want
independence from England. They share a common language
(English), and a common Royal lineage (King James was born in
Scotland). Also, British military bands use bagpipes.
As far as I am concerned, what happened in "Braveheart" is
ancient history.
I repeat, I say these things as an American who considers The
U.K. to be my country's best friend.

Probably not the place to discuss it but hey lol. They have free
Higher Education, it costs us English £9000 pounds a year for
our degrees, they invest more and have higher taxes. They are
tad more community minded and socialist than us down south since
they received devolution and they fell they would be better off
without us. Which looking at David Cameron I can fully
understand.

What about the Scots who are loyal to England? Are they
campaigning against this independence vote?
Here in the U.S. we don't get much information about that
subject.

I actually haven't a clue what's going on with this, but I don't
think Scotland will leave.
