Two More Wrestlers on their way out of TNA??

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that both
Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian’s contracts with TNA
are up in April. Daniels is said to have one of the better
remaining contracts still on the books. There is strong
speculation he’s going to be the next one to get the
cost-cutting treatment.
This follows the recent exits of Wes Brisco & Jay Bradley and
the rumored releases of Garrett Bischoff & Mike Knox
I actually really hope they do resign mainly because they are
talented & they are entertaining.

Like I said on the Sting thread I think your going to see the
guys around forty to be the ones who will be going. They have
larger contracts due to their perceived drawing power and that
means they re not the best value guys to keep on the roster. The
have short upsides as far as TNA is concerned.

That's true but it's so awkward to see the way TNA is going with
no real way to know what'll come next.

Don't say that Daniels is going to be leaving TNA! He needs a
title shot! He is a real asset to the company as both he and
Kaz are so entertaining! I am starting to worry that all the
older talent will go to join Jeff Jarrett's new company which
will hopefully form soon to attract AJ Styles and others. I am
not sure where it will leave TNA. They could still keep going
with the talent from abroad but it won't be anything like it is
now without the old guard!

I think you have kind of hit the nail on the head there Linda.
They want a fresh approach, its booking 101. New guy comes in
and shakes things up, plus its good value for the company. I
don't like it doesn't mean it doesn't make good business sense.

There's a clearout and then there's getting rid of everyone
who's been around a while. Daniels and Kaz should stay, they are
great entertainment and when the story is right they are a great
tag. Just clearly TNA are dropping all big contracts and holding
cheaper wrestlers for the roster. I really had thought we'd got
over the hill on this but clearly we should expect any other big
players to go in the near future
