RUMOR: SPIKE BIDDING FOR SMACKDOWN AND NXT IN 2014? READ MORE IN
       SIDE

Dave Meltzer mentioned on his Wrestling Observer radio show
today that Spike may be considering bidding for SmackDown in
2014, the reasons being that Smackdown being a lead-in for
Bellator would put more eyes on Bellator and the station's
average would be higher with SmackDown and Main Event (and
       possibly NXT) on Spike.
The scary thing for TNA is that both WWE and TNA's television
contracts come up for negotiation around the same time. Although
it is also important to keep in mind that TNA Star Eric Young
recently mentioned that TNA and Spike reached a new 5 year
agreement to keep Impact Wrestling on Spike.
Spike may get rid of TNA for WWE YV just because it is bigger
and more fans will watch it.. But let's see if this is true or
not . Dave Meltzer is not the best at telling facts :/

Meltzer's job is to speculate, he is a wrestling commentator
after all. I guess we will see but it has happened before with
Spike back when it was TNN, they had ECW and used it as vehicle
to see if wrestling would work on their network. No smoke
without fire in this case, and they would have to discuss it as
an option if they are a business.

If spike did get smackdown and NXT then TNa will have to set
things up to stay on spike TV .. Look let's not go over the top
spike could keep TNA , smackdown and NXT on spike . They are all
       on different days.

It is a possibility, Spike has invested in TNA a lot in the last
year and it appears to be finally going somewhere. It is a
consistent, if not great, ratings getter. I doubt that WWE would
agree to keeping TNA as a third show though, I would think it
would be an us or them deal. It may never get any further than
just being kicked around the office though.

[/quote]. If t comes down to WWE or TNA we all know what will
happen TNA will have to fine a new place . I just hope TNA and
spike can keep working together .
