BREAKING NEWS: Carters to sell TNA???

According to a new reports, The Carter Family are looking to
sell TNA Impact Wrestling.
It has been noted that The Carter’s are looking to sell the
company, and have been “for a while now.” It was also noted that
there is a lot of “big things” going on behind-the-scenes right
now as far as the future ownership of the company, but the
bottom line is, they are basically looking to sell it to the
highest bidder.
One report claims that some of the people interested in buying
TNA from the Carter’s include Eric Bischoff, Jeff Jarrett,
Viacom and possibly even World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Its Dave Meltzer who has put out and a deniable report on
Wrestling Observer, he has been on a bit of an anti TNA kick
latley, so don't read to much into it.

If this report is true, I would rather see Bischoff purchase the
company than McMahon. McMahon already has too big of the pie
when it comes to pro wrestling. Pro wrestling needs the
competition. I know that people that have been watching pro
wrestling longer than my 50 years of watching will say that back
when Pro Wrestling first started all you had was NWA and the
others broke off from NWA.

being made for them to want It . They have NXT

WWE would do TNA like they did all the other companies they
bought. Use only a certain few of the guys and put TNA by the
wayside like AWA, WCW, and ECW.

If TNA is sold I really hope it will stay as an independent
company. I hope one day that WWE will allow matches with TNA
wrestlers, but I doubt it would be a good thing for TNA to be
swallowed up by WWE. I even wonder whether Hulk Hogan would put
up the money to buy TNA? He could then be in control of the
company and nobody could keep saying he is being paid too much
and he is too old! This could be the reason he decided to quit
TNA as General Manager; to become the new owner, the true TNA
God of Wrestling!

Hogan has not got the money at the moment. The reason why he
quite company was because his contract was up and he is
exploring other options. He doesn't want to invest money in
something, or he would have bought his own company long ago.

The other option in this thinking would be that Hogan, Bischoff
and Hervey would go in together to purchase the company.
Remember Bischoff and Hervey wanted to purchase WCW but backed
out because WCW didn't have a television station to broadcast
their program.

From what I am reading on the rumour mill it is a deal being
brokered by Eric Bischoff with Viacom, the current value of the
company is in the Billions (that's what they have valued it at
and remember it is only rumour mill because I can't see it even
being over a 6 million myself but hey ho).
