Promo Classics; Roddy Piper and a Bottle

Roddy Piper cutting a promo on the Sheepherders. For those of
you who don't know the Sheepherders where the Bushwhackers in
the WWF in the 80's. Before the arm moving, child licking fun
though they where one of the toughest brawling tag teams in the
territories and where monster heels wherever they went, hence
Roddy's interesting way of proving a point.

I would disagree he made as much money as Hogan in the same time
period, just never needed the belt. He also had a much more
creatively successful film career than Hogan even if he didn't
make as much money there he didn't have many stinkers.

He main event-ed Wrestlemania 1, 2 and was a feature match on 3
before retiring (the first time) as well as being a top draw in
the NWA in Georgia, Mid Atlantic, and California. He was at the
top of the card in the territory days before Hogan got there so
its deceptive I guess because some of his big money work was not
       as well known.

No he never did. He was US Champion in Mid Atlantic and NWA
Light Heavyweight Champion whilst working in LA (he also drew
ton of heat and money), and he was Intercontinental Champion in
WWF. Though he was living proof that you don't need a title to
       make money.

Thats pretty much the way he sees it. He believes its a bigger
achievement because he made people, people didn't make him.
