       Triple H sacks Dusty Rhode NEW NXT GM and more

       The COO of WWE Triple H was on last nights NXT where he made a
       big announce. he was relieving Dusty Rhodes of his duties as NXT
       General Manager. This was done to add more to the story with the
       rhode family. Triple H then named JBL as the new NXT authority
       figure. JBL closed the episode by welcoming us to the NXT Era of
       The Wrestling God.

       Of course he brings in someone like JBL who also is a heel to
       take over as GM of NXT. Like you said it is nothing more than
       storyline with the Rhodes family. This type of story line would
       be like WCCW in the days of firing all the Von Erichs. It would
       get the same kind of reaction.

       Also I think JBL will be over more with the fans because he was
       on TV in 2005 not 1995 like dusty was.. I like that JBL is the
       new GM

       Newer is not always better. You do have to have a changing of
       the guards every once in a while I will agree and because Pro
       Wrestling relies so much on story lines today instead of actual
       wrestling this make a good way to create feuds.

       also it brings NXT in to the story to what is good for WWE to
       use all the shows.
